How work hours are calculated
PRAVIAX calculates the time between your clock-in and clock-out, then subtracts your unpaid break. The remaining time is your paid work time.
Example:Clock in at 8:00 AM and clock out at 5:00 PM. The shift lasts 9 hours. Subtract a 30-minute unpaid break and the result is8 hours 30 minutes, or8.50 decimal hours.
If the clock-out time is earlier than the clock-in time, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight.
